the Standard, LA

the Standard was my home for last week in LA. Management was gracious enough to give me an upgrade on my room, which i found out shortly was a smoking room. I got the nice concierge on the phone who told me proudly, 'YES! We do have smoking rooms here, its because the Standard is one of the last party hotels left in LA.'
